Excellence in home care service as provided by Our House Home Care Service was the vision of two friends Wentiers London and Robin Vantrease. Prior to founding Our House Home Care Service, Robin was a traveling nurse compassionately serving patients in Eastern North Carolina. Similarly, Wentiers was an award winning reporter for WCTI-TV covering Eastern North Carolina. In 2002, they combined their clinical expertise and communication skills to meet two unmet needs in Eastern North Carolina:
Together, they committed to building a care-focused and people-oriented company that allows clients to receive premiere health care at home. Those efforts has resulted in a thriving licensed home care service dedicated to providing the best in home care for Carolina’s senior and disabled citizens. After an extended battle with cancer, Robin Vantrease died in 2008. However, Wentiers London and a 125-member team of professional RN’s, CNA’s, other caretakers, and administrative professionals continue to work collaboratively every day to ensure excellence in care for every client.
Our House knows the importance of getting to know our clients. We provides an initial no-charge needs assessment to identify each client’s preferences and interests. We then match each client with a RN and caregiver who can collaboratively provide the unique and excellent care serve deserved by each client. This attention to care promotes a caregiver-client bond that makes exceptional care possible.
